If elephants brushed their teeth, what do you think their toothpaste would look like? Let’s find out…
Materials: YouTube, Hydrogen peroxide, dry yeast, warm water, food colouring, a pop bottle (or a cylinder), dish soap, a tray, a funnel and safety glasses.
Main Learning Outcomes: Developing fine motor skills, science concepts and early literacy.
Steps:

Tips: Toddlers can help with pouring some of the ingredients, and older children can be a little more interactive. However, it doesn’t really matter who actually conducts the experiment, the most fun part of it is watching the reaction! For older children, ask them what they think will happen with each step before it happens. After the experiment, follow up with why this reaction took place.
